The first one is how it looks on my CRT, the second is a closeup of the bars, and the third is a random pic I found on the net of how those bars should look (I think). Maybe it's just the GBI software, but I'm wondering if my CRT doesn't have some sort of color or convergence issue. Games will be controlled either via the Game Cube Pad or using. The Game Cube Game Boy Player attaches to the bottom of the Nintendo Game Cube NTO which the game cartridge can be inserted. It's not a problem with my reds or anything like that as they all look proper elsewhere, it just seems to be with these bars. Using the Game Cube Game Boy Player you can finally play all your favorite Game Boy (standard, Color or even Advance) games on the big TV screen. The red of the HP bar seems to have a line of blue under it as well which I don't see if the emulator pictures. They look lighter and more washed out than they should. This software fixes the screen resolution issues and sets the output to the proper 240P resolution.Įverything looks amazing, but when playing Castlevania Aria of Sorrow I noticed that the HP/Mp bars looked a bit off from the emulation pictures I've seen. Lately I've been playing GBA games on the Gameboy Player using a homebrew version of the GBP software called GBI. The TV doesnt do progressive scan so I just have it set to SD when I play the GC. I have a Gamecube with component cables plugged into my KV27FS100.
